ABOUT US

The Royal Tempts have been together for over forty years. We originated in elementary school at the age of ten. While at Kashmere High School, we were under the excellent leadership and management of the late great Conrad "Prof" Johnson where the group took off. We performed in France, Belgium, Germany, Holland and a resort in Cancun, Mexico. We sing "old school songs" or old rhythm and blues hits from the seventies, eighties and nineties, singing such songs by the Temptations, Spinners, O'Jays, Stylistics, Smokey Robinson, Al Green and others. We have opened shows for Bobbie Womack, the Commodores, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes and others. We opened up the Kool Jazz Festival at the Astrodome in Houston, TX. With our smooth blended harmony, electrifying, tantalizing choreography and eye catching outfits you will be well satisfied and totally entertained. The Royal Tempts band not only play well, but can also sing and entertain by themselves.
